Hewlett-Packard Laser Jet P2015 fonts missing
It is fairly common for customers to want to purchase smaller, less expensive laser printers. HP currently does not seem to have any smaller or less expensive laser printers other than the P2015, which does not support the Universal or Helvetica/Swiss fonts that Answers uses on laser forms, that is why the Name, Address, and headings in black do not print correctly on these printers. The next step up is the 3005 which does work fine right out of the box and is a nice printer.
HP told us that if you purchase the P2015 printer in a store, you should ask if they have the Font DIMM card for the printer. If they have it -- it is supposed to be free, and they can either install it for you or give it to you to install.
If you buy online, or the store does not have the Font DIMM card, they can call technical support and give them some information about the printer and the company name/address info, and HP will send them the Font DIMM card -- again, it's supposed to be free. Be sure to explain to them you have a custom software application that prints using "PCL" and that this printer does not have all of standard PCL fonts that are needed to print your forms correctly.
