Can I print a Proof of the daily invoice register to make sure that costs and gross margins are OK without having to update it?

Yes. Under Order Processing, Reporting, Open Order Reports you can print the Detail Open Order Register. This report allows you to print all open orders, or you can selectively choose to print only specific orders, such as only orders that have either been Released for invoicing (but the invoices have not actually been printed yet), or orders that have been Invoiced (but the nightly invoice register has not updated them yet). You can also select other criteria such as a salesman range, customer range, warehouse range, and an operator range.

When running this report, realize that the report is using the "order date". So, be sure the order date range you enter goes back far enough to pick up the oldest orders you might have in your system.
