When I put in the check # I need to use, I get a "Check # is out of Sequence" error.
You need to print and update the Cash Disbursements Journal. The check writing program checks the Cash Disbursements Journal and will not let you enter a check number to print higher than the check number(s) already written but not updated. Once you have printed and updated the Cash Disbursements Journal, the check writing program will let you change your check number to the correct number.
