When I click on the Financial Position tab, it takes a long time to display the data.
This tab is re-calculating your financial analysis figures to give you a real-time idea of where your business stands… Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable aging are both being calculated. Open Orders, Purchase Orders, and Manufacturer Rep Commissions are all being calculated. For most users, these calculations are very quick. What may take some time to compute is the Inventory Value figure. If you have a large inventory with several warehouses and/or a lot of items, then you may wish to NOT have the iventory value re-calculated in real-time. You can control this under File > Executive Information Center options and if the total is not calculated in real-time, it will simply use the value calculated during your last end-of-day process.
