FAQ #: 141
I am trying to email a form (quote, invoice, purchase order, etc) and the PDF document keeps putting JET PCL DEMONSTRATION on the forms and the document is unreadable.

The JET PCL DEMONSTRATION message is coming from the VSI-Fax Server. Even though these documents are being emailed, the convertors that create the PDF's are part of the VSI-Fax software. If the VSI-Fax Service is not running, or not running properly, or it is unlicensed or the license has expired, you will see this message.

To solve this issue, you first need to license VSI-Fax if it is unlicensed or the license has expired.

If your VSI-Fax is licensed properly, then you need to stop and re-start the VSI-Fax Service. To do this, on the server, go to Start, then Administrative Tools, then Services. Locate the VSI-Fax Server. There is also an "administration" service, we want the Server service. Right-click on the service and if you can, select "End" or "Stop" to stop the task. Then, right-click on the service again and click on "Start".

Even if it shows running, we want to stop it first and give it a clean start.
