FAQ #: 38
When I print a report to the screen, it always asks me to delete the spooled report. What should I do?

Anytime that you print a report to the screen or spooler, you are printing the report to a disk file instead of a printer. The disk file report looks just like a report printed on a printer. It has the report headings, column headings, and layout just as it would have on a printer. The system maintains these disk files indefinitely. These disk files can be viewed, printed, and deleted using the Spooled Reports Management program (SPM for the shortcut). When the program prompts you to delete the spooled report file, answer "Y"es if you do not expect to need this report at a later time, or if it is a report that you can easily re-run. Answer "N"o if you wish to keep that exact report on file to be viewed or printed later.
