After installing Answers on a P/C, I get the message "Unknown Publisher" on wrun32.exe every time I try using the icon. Answers comes up an runs fine, but I would like to get rid of this annoying message from Windows.
This message comes from newer security features in Windows. You can eliminate this message by telling your P/C that the server where Answers is installed is a "Trusted" computer. To do this follow these steps:
(1) Open up Internet Explorer.
(2) Click on Tools-->Internet Options from the pull-down menu.
(3) Click on the Security tab.
(4) Click on Trusted Sites (green check mark icon).
(5) Click on the Sites button.
(6) In the "Add this website to the zone" box, type in the following replacing "server_name" with the name of your server where Answers is installed:
file://server_name
(7) Then click on the "Add" button and the server name should be added to the list of trusted sites shown in the list box below.
(8) Click on the "Close" button.
(9) Click on the "OK" button.
