FAQ #: 66
The Stock Receipts Journal prompted me to print Pick Tickets for back orders, and I did, but pick tickets did not print out for all of the orders that are on my Back Order Release Review Report.
A. If the original order had it's "Print Pick Ticket" flag set to "no", then any back order releases would be created with their "Print Pick Ticket" flag set to "no" as well.
B. If the original order is set to a "Ship Complete" order, then individual back orders are not created. Instead, back orders are filled on the original order number, and the pick ticket will not be printed until the entire order is in stock and can be filled all at once.
C. If the original order had a direct invoice printed for it, your configuration determines how the "Print Pick Ticket" flag is set on back order releases. You may check the ANSWERS Configuration options for Order Entry to see how you have this flag set.
Regardless, you may bring the order up in Order Maintenance and print it's pick ticket, unless it is a "Ship Complete" order. If it is a "Ship Complete" order, the system will not allow printing the pick ticket until you have the entire order.
