FAQ #: 99
I have a new cash account number and want to pay checks out of this account. However, when I try to run checks no invoices show up to be paid.
The check writing programs have two places for the cash account number. The first field, Invoice Cash Account #, refers to the cash account number that was put on the invoice when it was entered. The second field, Bank Cash Account #, refers to the cash account from which you want to pay the invoices. If you have a new cash account number, then you probably have invoices that still have the old cash account number tied to them. To pay these invoices out of the new account, you should enter the old cash account number in the Invoice Cash Account and the new cash account number as the Bank Cash Account.
