Tip of the Month for: August 2024

Additions to Vendor Inquiry Analysis & Analysis History tabs

The Vendor Inquiry Account Analysis tab now allows placing a check-mark in the very first column in front of the invoice number to have the window compute and display a running count and dollar total of invoices selected.  This was done to make balancing the vendor invoices and credits to statements from the vendor easier.  This is very similar to the same feature added previously to Customer Inquiry Account Analysis.

This running count and dollar total is shown out to the right of the buttons on the bottom row of the tab/window.  You can clear checked invoices individually by removing the check-mark or by clicking on the check-box in the first column of the header row or by using the appropriately named check-box in the “Options” pop-up window. Likewise if no invoices are checked, you can click on the check-box in the first column of the header row to automatically check all invoices and credit memos with an outstanding balance.

Note that you must have stretched your window wide enough horizontally to allow showing this additional information.  Generally, if you make the window wide enough to show at least the first P/O # and Release # columns, the running count and dollar total of checked invoices should also have room to display.
