Nonstock Item Inquiry
The Nonstock Item Inquiry window was previously known as the Nonstock Sales History window and was expanded in Answers 4.8 to not only show sales history for nonstock items, but to also search purchase orders, sales orders, quotes, transfers, RFQ's, and purchase order history. This provides a more robust search and display of any time true nonstock items have been used in Answers, and where they were used. This search deals with any time part numbers that are not defined in inventory are used (categories "N" and "M").
Users can search for items by either stock # or description. They can do an exact match search on the part number, or a partial search/match on the stock #.
Once the results are displayed, the corresponding document can be viewed as well, so the user can see the purchase order, quote, transfer, etc.
This search can be found on the Inventory Inquiry menu, and from the File menu in Inventory Inquiry.
