Pick Ticket Print History
Beginning with Answers 4.4, a history of printed pick tickets is kept automatically by Answers. This history allows you to see, at a glance, all the times a pick ticket for an order has been printed, and retrieve a copy of that printed ticket. This feature could be useful when changes to a ticket have been made inadvertently, a customer has changed their mind, or a customer has lost a copy of their ticket and needs another copy.
The history is available in several different locations:
When the Pick Ticket Print History is displayed, it shows the date and time the ticket was printed in order with the most recent prints first. If you are using the print history from the order, open order, or invoice history, re-prints prior to the order date are not shown (as it assumed those prints would be from previous times the order number may be have been used). When you use the print history from the menu, all the prints on file for that order number are displayed.
Pick Tickets can be viewed (as a PDF), re-printed, faxed, or emailed.
There is a purge on the pick ticket print history as well. The purge is located on the Order Processing > End of Period menu and gives you a cut-off date to remove older pick ticket print history. If the users re-print a lot of pick tickets, this history can grow rather quickly... and some of the older history may not be as useful anyway.
