Tip of the Month for: July 2018
Expanded Nonstock Item Inquiry
With the last release of Answers released in September 2017, the previous Nonstock Sales History Inquiry windows was expanded to a full Nonstock Item Inquiry window.
Instead of just searching for sales history on nonstock items, it will now search:
Sales Orders
Quotes
Warehouse Transfers
Vendor RFQ’s
Purchase Orders and Purchase Order History
All of these transactions are now searched for the nonstock part number entered (or for the description entered). It will display the transactions on which the item is found along with other relevant information. The user can then view the transaction (sales order, purchase order, quote) if desired.
Options are available to limit the number of years displayed, as well as the types of searches performed.
This inquiry/search is available on the
Inventory Inquiry menu, as well as the File pull-down menu
in Inventory Inquiry, Order Entry, and Purchase Order Entry.
