Nonstock Sales History Inquiry
If you sale a lot of non-stock, special ordered items, then you may want to make sure you are taking advantage of the searching capabilities now provided in the Nonstock Sales History Inquiry program.
This program can be found by going into Inventory Management-->Inquiry.
It is also available from the "File" pull-down menu bar in Inventory Inquiry.
It allows searching on non-stock sales based on Stock Numbers and Descriptions. You can search on Stock Numbers using an Exact Match, Begins With, Ends With, or Includes. If you just click on the [Find Stock #] button, it searches based on the last setting chosen. But you can choose your searching method by clicking on the drop-down box to the right of the [Find Stock #] button.
You can also search on part or all of a Description by clicking on the [Find Desc] button.
This search looks for items that have been sold with category codes of "N", "M", and their respective B/O Release category codes of "O" and "P" with "M" and "P" being for non-stock factory directs. This search is not customer specific and would search for all matches of the requested stock number or description across all customers. This search uses the Sales records of the Inventory Transaction History file to find its results.
For each matching sale, you are shown the invoice #, date, stock #, description, category code (to indicate factory direct or not), quantity, and unit price. You can also click on a sale to view the entire invoice or print out a Nonstock Sales History Report from this program.
