Inserting Manual Page Breaks

When creating sales orders and quotes, especially those longer in length or those giving the customer multiple options, it may be desirable to create your own "page breaks" and control when a new page starts.

This can easily be accomplished by selecting the line item you wish you to create a new page before, or by positioning your cursor on a blank line, and selecting Edit > Edit Line Item Info > Insert Page Break from the drop-down menu bar.  This will insert a "comment" line with a "C" in the category column and a description that says "<NEW PAGE>".  This line will NOT actually be printed, but when the printing programs see this line, they will force a new page to start.  This line can also be deleted as well, just like any other line, should you choose at a later time to remove this page break.

For those who make a lot of use of this feature, the new Answers 5.0 version coming out this fall will provide an icon right on the toolbar making it even easier to insert page breaks as desired.
