Improved Tracking of Inventory Adjustments

Included in the last release of Answers is the ability to better track and control who is making inventory adjustments.  These changes are in addition to any passwords or menu restrictions you already had in place on the Inventory Adjustments program.

Similar to Order Entry and P/O Entry, Adjustments can now prompt for and operator code upon entry. This can optionally be defaulted from the user's login name or can require manual entry.  It can also be configured to require validation against known operator codes to further limit what codes can be used.  And it can be configured to allow the user to change this code or to have it defaulted, without the ability to change it.  Of course, if you do not default it from the user's login name, then you will obviously want to allow it to be entered.

Along with this new operator code, adjustments will also log the user's login name, terminal ID, date and time of the entry.   This additional logging information will then be printed on the Inventory Adjustments Transaction Register.  They will also be updated into Transaction History and will be shown in Inventory Inquiry and if Adjustments are exported from Transaction History into Excel.

This new Inventory Adjustments tracking feature is controlled 3 new Advanced Inventory Configuration options listed below:

# 58 Default Operator From User's Login in Adjustments

# 59 Validate Operators in Adjustments

# 60 Prevent Changing Operator in Adjustments

Two of these options can also be optionally controlled on an individual user basis with 2 new User Profile Advanced options: # 22 - similar to # 58 above and # 23 - similar to # 60 above.
