Suppressing warning messages when emailing from Answers through Outlook and Outlook Express

More and more users like the idea of being able to email forms directly out of Answers as PDF documents using their default email client program on their P/C as compared to sending TIFF files and/or emailing via Vsi-Fax.  For many users, this is either Outlook (if you have installed any version of Microsoft Office on your P/C), or if not, then Outlook Express.  Depending upon your version of Windows and these email programs and how up to date you are with Microsoft updates, you may be getting a warning box when you try to email from Answers or other applications too for that matter.  This warning normally reads something like "Another program is trying to send an email on your behalf.  If you recognize this program, then click on [Allow], if not click on [Deny]".  In newer versions of these programs, you can suppress this warning if desired.  This is one of the new security features that Microsoft has added to reduce viruses and mal-ware by spreading via unattended emails.

In Outlook Express, click on Tools-->Options-->Security and then uncheck the box titled "Warn me when other applications try to send mail as me".

In Outlook 2007, the default setting is to only warn you when your anti-virus software is either inactive or out of date. So, you may not see a warning at all in Outlook 2007 as long as your anti-virus software is functioning properly and kept up-to-date. However, you can go to Tools-->Trust Center and in the left hand pane click on "Programmatic Access" to view the possible options.  There are 2 other options (in addition to the default just explained) to "Always Warn Me" and to "Never Warn Me".

In Outlook 2003 and older versions we are unaware of an easy option to disable this warning, other than special programming through some software available from Microsoft.
