Answers Version 4.6 to be Released on September 8th, 2015
The next release of Answers is almost here! Customers
will be able to down-load Answers 4.6 beginning
this month. The newest version of Answers contains
over 70 new features. Just a few of the high-lighted
new capabilities are listed below.
- A new A/R Cash Projection program has been added and is integrated with the Daily Business Summary.
- Ability to run Financial Statements for previously closed periods.
- Stand-Alone RFQ (Request for Quote) Entry program now allows keying in your own Vendor RFQ’s that are not necessarily linked to a customer quote.
- Resizable windows have been added to selected key programs Order Entry, Purchase Order Entry, Vendor RFQ Entry and Task Reminders.
- Maintenance changes will now be logged for Customers, Vendors, Inventory items, and Configuration settings.
- Optional spell checking in Sales Orders, Quotes, and Purchase Orders, and Standard comments.
- Ability to email or fax a copy of an invoice that has been invoiced in the same day but not yet updated thru End-of-Day.
- Ability to specify a reason for an item being returned from a customer in Order Entry for Returns.
- Ability to automatically create a Vendor Return as a result of a Sales Return from a Customer and then to be notified of the incoming credit from the vendor so you can release/invoice the credit/return to the customer.
- Ability to copy a single item, multiple lines, or an entire transaction from Sales Orders, Returns, Quotes, Warehouse Transfers, Purchase Orders and stand-alone Vendor RFQ’s into other transactions in Order Entry, Purchase Order Entry, or Vendor RFQ Entry.
- Ability to notify the salesperson or operation when back ordered items are ordered on P/O’s and again when they are received in.
- Integration with Verifone's POINT gateway for updated credit card processing requirements going into effect October 1st, 2015 (currently in the testing and validation process).
- Enhanced capabilities for local tax withholding in the Payroll module.
